Welcome to the Reception/EYFS! This stage is a wonderful time to explore a variety of books together and begin building a collection of patterns, stories, and vocabulary. It’s a great opportunity to encourage children to actively participate in storytelling by using prompt questions and pictures to engage them in creating their own narratives. It’s crucial at this age to instill a love for books in children to spark their curiosity, foster creativity, and promote enjoyment of reading.
